The Shearers Quarters are part of Angorichina Station which is 150,000 acre working sheep station. The original shearer's quarters, circa 1850s, offer a glimpse of the past with modern fittings providing practical, comfortable accommodation ideal for families and groups wanting a private escape to get in touch with nature. The Angorichina Station Shearers Quarters are adjacent to the 'oldest working native pine woolshed' in Australia. Your hosts, The Fargher Family, are fifth generation pastoralists in the area - so enjoy the local knowledge. Relax with a barbecue, bird watch, go for a hike or four-wheel drive or get involved in station activities (seasonal). You can even take a scenic flight with the station owner. The self-contained accommodation sleeps up to 16 and features; one queen room with electric blanket, five twin rooms, a four bed bunkhouse and two bathrooms. All bedrooms have ceiling fans. There is a large dining room as well as an outdoor dining area with open campfire for evenings under the stars. The well equipped kitchen has all modern conveniences of home including two full sized fridges, a microwave, kettle, toaster, gas oven/stove and pots/pans and crockery/cutlery.
