Alpana Station Tours offer accredited (Passenger Transport Board of South Australia) full and half day four wheel drive, self drive, tag-a-long and tailored tours exploring the natural beauty of Alpana Station and the central Flinders Ranges. Explore in the comfort of Alpana's luxury 4WD vehicle, or your own, on exclusive tracks not accessible to the public. A full day on Alpana includes a visit to the original pine and pug cottage, the Bald Range Lookout with wow factor views, natural springs and river cascades. Following wide gum lined creeks that open to the breathtaking scenery of the ABC and Heysen Ranges you will experience flora and fauna, geology, history and land management practices, with short distances of true four wheel driving. Your driver Sally has over thirty years of 4WD experience, ten years of tour guiding experience, Cert 3 in Tour Guiding (Geology), Cert 3 in Education, an extensive and ever growing knowledge of the plants, geology and history of the area and a deep love of the area, the station and the lifestyle, and it is all packed into every tour option.
